Absolutely delicious BBQ. Had a brisket sandwich from the food truck today. Portions are great and the service is fantastic. Two gentleman with manners who were very attentive to orders and service. One of the best BBQ sandwiches I’ve ever had in Texas.
Old style Barbecue served at the south Fort Worth restaurant. Kansas City style! All the favorites are here plus a few unique offerings. I have been a fan of Lil Bob’s BBQ at the State Fair of Texas for decades. In particular his smoked Bologna sandwich. They are no longer at the fair. Years ago I discovered Mr Robinson perfected smoked bologna and it’s a great sandwich if you like that meat . His brisket is great and the sides too. Especially the beans and potato salad. Since Covid they adapted to drive thru only. I miss the small rustic dining room . If you like BBQ this is one to try .
The place smelled great so I had high hopes. Unfortunately the food is way over priced for the portions they are serving. The sausage is ok. The Mac n cheese is terrible no flavor at all. The potato salad was ok as well could be a lot better in my opinion.
BBQ spot located on the Southside of Fort Worth (about 2 miles from TCU). I hadn’t had a sloppy Joe in awhile. I decided to start my morning with a sloppy Joe sammich and some macaroni. The macaroni was extremely good. Overall, it was very good and affordable.
The worst BBQ ever! It looked like dog food, the meat had no smoke flavor like the hot links were boiled and the brisket was very dry! Only giving it one star because I am not able to give it my true rating that would be negative stars. We wanted a rib and sausage plate but it isn't sold as a plate combo even though it's on their menu. Last the potato salad is store bought! I make better bbq in my oven then the bbq they are selling.
Food was good and hot even after the 20min ride back home. Was disappointed with menu changes. Felt like I was forced to buy a more expensive meal since what I wanted wasn't being offered. They need to update their menu. Otherwise, was good. Also a bit pricey. Really wanted ribs only but got a 2 meat plate with brisket which was surprisingly good and tender. Needed a bit more sauce
Heard about it' but wasn't at all impressed! The chicken was so dry and there was so many broken bones in it' why? So definitely take caution when serving to a child.. My sliced brisket was so thin it literally looked chopped" if i had to bet my last dollar id say they boil their meats, not a fan of that at all' the meat was not fresh, it had a leftover taste or something funky, i didn't even eat 1/2"of it taste so bad it went to the trash yeah sure the presentation is nice but I was very sick all night along side of my friend from eating here, you got a 1 star not because i wanted to but because i had too. Will be demanding my money back....
What a spot !!! Felt like I was transported to Kansas City bbq!! Tangy sauce that is a change of pace to all the sweet bbq sauces that Texas has. Enjoyed the ribs , sliced hot links so much ! Oh and they offer koolaid !!!
